Research Use Only policy

This is the single most important document on this website. It sets out the only basis on which we supply, and it is a condition of every order. If you disagree with any part of it, do not order.

LAST UPDATED 9 AUGUST 2026

1. The basis of supply

Every product listed on this website is supplied exclusively as a laboratory reagent, for in-vitro research carried out by suitably qualified personnel, in a laboratory setting.

Our products are not medicinal products. They are not foods, food supplements, cosmetics or medical devices. None of them holds a marketing authorisation and none is licensed for any therapeutic use in any jurisdiction.

They are not supplied for administration to humans or to animals, and they are not supplied for any therapeutic, prophylactic, diagnostic or clinical application, whether experimental or otherwise.

2. We make no medicinal claims

Nothing on this website states or implies that any product treats, prevents, diagnoses, cures or alleviates any disease, condition or symptom in humans or animals. No such claim should be inferred from any part of this site, and none is authorised on our behalf by any employee, reseller or affiliate.

Where we reference published research, we do so to characterise a compound as a research tool — to describe what it is, what it binds, and the experimental contexts in which it appears. Citation of a study is not a claim that its findings translate to humans, nor an endorsement of any use outside a laboratory.

Under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, a product can become a medicinal product by presentation — by how it is described and promoted — regardless of what its label says. We take that seriously, and our product copy is written accordingly.

3. We do not provide administration guidance

We do not provide, and will not provide on request, any of the following: doses, dosing schedules, routes of administration, injection technique, cycle guidance, stacking guidance, or reconstitution volumes calculated for administration to a person or an animal.

This applies through every channel — email, telephone, contact form, social media, live chat and in person — and it applies to every customer regardless of order history or account status. Enquiries of this nature are not answered.

This is not evasiveness. Supplying that information alongside the product is precisely what converts a laboratory reagent into an unlicensed medicinal product in the eyes of the regulator, and it is also simply not something we are willing to do.

4. Who we supply

We supply researchers and research organisations. At registration and at checkout we ask for the institution or organisation on whose behalf you are ordering and your research context, and we record both against the order.

The declaration you make at checkout is a contractual condition of supply and not a formality. Where an order, or any communication about it, makes clear that the intended use is administration to a person or an animal, we will cancel the order, refund it in full, and decline future orders.

5. What we will not list

Two rules limit our catalogue, and both cost us revenue.

  • We do not list any compound holding a UK marketing authorisation. Supplying an authorised medicinal product without a wholesale dealer's licence is a criminal offence under the Human Medicines Regulations 2012, not a regulatory grey area, and no research-use framing changes that.
  • We do not list any compound we cannot release against a full certificate of analysis, including a chromatogram. If we cannot show you the evidence, we do not sell the material.

6. Purchaser responsibilities

By ordering you accept responsibility for the following, and you accept that they rest with you and not with us.

  • Handling, storage, use and disposal in accordance with your own institution's risk assessments and its obligations under COSHH and equivalent legislation.
  • Ensuring that any person handling the material is suitably qualified or is supervised by someone who is.
  • Compliance with every law that applies to you, including the import requirements of the destination country, which differ significantly between jurisdictions and on which we cannot advise.
  • Not supplying the material onward to any person you have reason to believe intends to administer it to a human or an animal.

7. Consequences

Breach of this policy is a breach of the contract of supply. We may cancel orders, close accounts and decline future business. Where we are required to, we will co-operate with the MHRA, Trading Standards, Border Force or other competent authorities.

8. Demonstration notice

Celsius Peptides is a storefront built as a portfolio demonstration. The company registration details and registered office shown on this site are real and describe Starfield Processing Limited. The lot numbers, certificates, analytical figures, customer numbers and reviews are illustrative and do not describe goods that exist. No goods are dispatched and no payment is taken.
